APRIL 2019, QATAR- Prof. Datuk Dr. Ahmad Fauzi has being invited by the Vice President for Research & Graduate Studies Office at\u00a0Qatar<\/span>\u00a0University QU Annual Research Forum & Exhibition 2019 on 24th<\/sup>. & 25th<\/sup> April 2019. The\u00a0forum<\/span>\u00a0is about\u00a0the\u00a0most recent innovations, trends, and concerns,\u00a0as\u00a0well as\u00a0the\u00a0practical\u00a0challenges encountered, and solution adopted in the research transformation through the fourth industry revolution.\u00a0 He also was being invited to give a special talk in 1st Workshop on the Membranes based Desalination Technologies organized by Water Technology Unit at Center for Advance Materials, Qatar University on 22nd<\/sup>. April 2019.<\/p>\n

Qatar University Annual Research Forum and Exhibition is the meeting point for students, researchers and academics from the University\u2019s nine colleges, centers and institutes; including partners and stakeholders, to assess and review the institution\u2019s research enterprise. This year\u2019s high profile event will be extended to two days and will feature theory grounded discussions, and original research presentations. It is an occasion to demonstrate new tools, or report on the implementation of new programs, collaborations, innovations and other relevant projects that take bearing from the QU Research Roadmap 2018-2022, Qatar National Research Strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030.<\/p>\n

The forum will also highlight the important and award winning research being conducted at Qatar University that promotes the vision of the University and supports the research priorities of Qatar in the areas of Water Security, Energy Security, Cyber Security, Social Priorities and Health; and the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.<\/p>\n

During the event, Prof. Datuk Dr. Ahmad Fauzi Ismail was also invited to visit and have an official meeting and discussion with Prof Dr. Hassan Rashid Al-Derham, the President of Qatar University accompanied by Dr. Alnuaimi, Director Centre for Advanced Materials (CAM) and Prof. Syed Mohamad\u00a0 Javed Zaidi, Chair Professor Centre for Advanced Materials (CAM) for future direction of research collaboration between UTM & Qatar University and assisting QU to strengthen their newly established Water Technology Centre.<\/p>\n

The outcome of this event, Prof. Datuk Dr. Ahmad Fauzi Ismail and his team has been secured an International Research Collaboration Co-Funds (IRCC) collaboration project with Prof. Dr. Syed Javaid Zaidi.<\/p>\n
