Jakarta, Indonesia 21 February 2024 – Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia, hosted the final meeting of the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE)-funded project on safe and sustainable offshore decommissioning. The event brought together project partners to review progress, finalize deliverables, and discuss the completion of this significant initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event began with an engaging project overview delivered by the project leader, providing a clear understanding of the initiative\u2019s significance and its impact on offshore decommissioning practices. The closing remarks celebrated the milestones achieved and emphasized the importance of collaboration in addressing decommissioning challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each work package leader presented a detailed overview of their progress, highlighting achievements, challenges, and planned activities. These presentations offered valuable insights into the project\u2019s development and shaped strategies for addressing any gaps. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
