Research Contract Agreement (RCA) has been signed between IJN Sdn. Bhd. and UTM on the ‘6 Minute Walk Test (6MWT) Monitoring System with Vital Signs Measurement using Mobile Technology’. The RCA was initiated by Dr. Hau Yuan Wen for two years on her project, clinical data collection at IJN Sdn. Bhd.<\/p>\n

Research Visit by UNAND, Indonesia<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

We hosted a research visit from 19 researchers from Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Andalas (UNAND), Indonesia. The day was filled with networking discussion and visits to selected Research Centre laboratories under iHumEn (IJN – UTM CEC, MEDiTEC, MaGICX and SITC). Prof. Dr. Aisyah Elliyanti, MD, the Head of the Doctoral Program at the Faculty of Medicine, UNAND, also has shared her invaluable expertise on cancer entitled ‘Cancer Diagnosis and Management: Present Significant Challenges’.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Active Medical Devices Certification Course<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Basic Active Medical Devices (BAMD) and Intermediate Active Medical Devices (IAMD) Certification Courses have been hosted by EPI Academy Sdn. Bhd. with the support from IJN-UTM Cardiovascular Engineering Centre. The courses were delivered few times in 2024, starting from February until September 2024, for interactively 6 days for each Course.

A visit by Prof. Young Soo Sohn a Professor in Department of Biomedical Engineering, Daegu Catholic University, Korea with 6 undergraduate students to IJN-UTM Cardiovascular Engineering Centre to discuss possible research collaboration by IJN-UTM fellows.
