\u201cThe International Seminar on Mathematics in Industry (ISMI) and the International Conference on Theoretical and Applied Statistics (ICTAS), ISMI-ICTAS18 is a joint conference focusses on all areas of mathematics applications. ISMI-ICTAS18 strengthens the tradition of conference excellence already established in the region by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia by combining these two events from two countries into one. This joint conference is an excellent platform for mathematical scientists and industry practitioners to share their experiences in handling real industrial problem through mathematical ideas and tools. It is expected that closer ties between mathematical scientists and industry partners between Malaysia and Indonesia could be forged through various project collaborations. We invite mathematical scientists, engineers and industrial practitioners to join us at ISMI-ICTAS18. The theme of the conference is STEM Harnesses 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) Challenges & Opportunities. This event includes lectures, research paper presentations and the Malaysian Mathematics in Industry Workshop (MMIW2018).\u201d<\/p>\n
