From 17 \u2013 22 August 2025, two fellows from the Centre for River and Coastal Engineering (CRCE), Dr. Erwan Hafizi Kasiman and Dr. Mohd Hasif bin Osman, joined a research visit to the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience (NIED) and the International Centre for Water Hazard and Risk Management (ICHARM) in Japan.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This visit, organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), aims to strengthen networking, foster future collaboration opportunities, and explore possible research attachments with these renowned institutes.<\/div>\n
