You are all invited to E-symposium organized by Innovation Centre of Agritechnology for Advanced Bioprocessing (ICA), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Pagoh, which will be carried out in Online Mode on September 22nd, 2020. With the theme of \u201cSustainable Agriculture, Food & Nutrition Security\u201d, this event aims to bring together professionals and researchers to discuss on the current research in food and agriculture technology focusing on the following scopes:<\/div>\n

\u00b7 Nutrient Dense and Bioactives Food for Health& wellness<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00b7 Sustainable Agriculture<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We are calling for abstract submission. The E-symposium will be carried out in the Mode of live online presentation and pre-recorded video presentation. This year, ICARS is introducing Food & Agriculture Research & Innovation Competition (FARIC) with the objectives:<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\u00b7 To support the development of food and agriculture through the empowerment towards research and improvement in food and agriculture research and technology<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\u00b7 To give recognition to the innovation research projects in food and agriculture research and technology<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
All presenters (whether live online presentation or pre-recorded video presentation) are automatically eligible to participate in the competition for a chance to win attractive prizes. The competition is divided into two categories based on symposium scopes and for each category the awards are as below:<\/div>\n

\u00b7 Gold (RM 250 cash + RM250 worth of ICA product + E-Certificate)<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\u00b7 Silver (RM 150 cash + RM150 worth of ICA product + E-Certificate)<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00b7 Bronze (RM 80 cash + RM70 worth of ICA product + E-Certificate)<\/div>\n
