As announced earlier, IFE is adopting the annual conference previously organised by IHE (now CHE) beginning this year. The purpose is to provide a forum of knowledge sharing and interactions between all levels of researchers within the group. As such we would like full participation from all PhD students in oral\/poster presentation of the conference. It is a national level conference. Selected paper will be published in special issues of Journal Teknologi, International Journal of process systems engineering (inderscience, non-index), or any other journals deemed appropriate.<\/p>\n
We need to form the organising committee:<\/p>\n
4th. Conference on Emerging Energy and process technology (CONCEPT)<\/p>\n
1. Chairperson: Dr Umi Aisah Asli
\n2. Deputy Chairperson:
\n3. Secretary: Nazlina (assisted by Noormaiza)
\n4. Treasurer: Fadhzir
\n5. Logistics:
\n– Salmah
\n– All other RO’s within IFE
\n6. Scientific Committee (for publications etc): 2 or 3 members from each RC is required to form . RC directors, please nominate the members.<\/p>\n
Dr Umi is finalising the survey of venue. once we finalise this, we will seek approval from the university, and appoint all members accordingly.<\/p>\n

\nPreliminary info:<\/p>\n
Venue: A Famosa Resort
\nFee: RM550 per person for student. The fee covers everything including accommodation (twin sharing) and all meals (2 lunches, dinner, tea break etc).
\nMembers of IFE will attend 1 day earlier since we are going to have our end of year retreat in the same place one day before CONCEPT.<\/p>\n
Brochures, etc will be made available for arrangement with RMC etc.<\/p>\n
