SITC successfully organized the Junior Drone Edu Challenge & Micro Drone Race 2022 program as a part of their service\u00adlearning project on the 4th of June 2022. The motivation for organizing this event purposely to transfer knowledge of drone technology to the local community. Students are believed to be empowered to organize, manage, strategize, communicate and enhance leadership through an insightful program.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program was held at Sutera Mall, Johar Bahru, with 68 school students and various public visitors participating in the drone activities, including Drone Flying Simulator, Drone Coding Simulator, and Drone Modelling & Drawing.<\/p>\n

Aside from that, the Southern Micro Drone Race 2022 was also being held alongside the activities. This drone sport event took place with 12 trained drone pilots from Malaysia and Singapore to compete on a controlled race track using first person view (FPV) style.<\/p>\n

Through this event, school students were allowed to show their talents, understand the basic principles, and participate in various organized activities. Interestingly, prizes were prepared and given to the winners of the drone activities and quizzes conducted throughout the program.<\/p>\n
