Ascending to Supreme Drone Sport Excellence<\/span><\/p>\n

Spearheading an exciting initiative, the Sports Innovation and Technology Centre (SITC), in collaboration with Futurise Sdn. Bhd. and National Academy for Drone Sports for Centre of Excellence (AKSADRON) held the launch ceremony of the AKSADRON-UTM Satellite Centre of Excellence on June 6, 2023, at the Al-Jazari Auditorium, V01, UTM Johor Bahru, which is the inauguration of an inbound satellite laboratory at UTM.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Datuk Ir. Ts. Dr Ahmad Fauzi Ismail, Vice Chancellor of UTM, and Mr Rosihan Zain Baharudin, Chief Executive Officer of Futurise Sdn. Bhd. presided at the launching event. The launching event witnessed enthusiastic participation from diverse attendees, including schools, external organizations, UTM students and staff, and the thriving drone sports community.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ultimate objective behind establishing the AKSADRON-UTM Satellite Centre of Excellence is to boost UTM\u2019s research and development (R&D), competency, and resilience in championing developing fields of knowledge and research. Fostering strategic relationships between the university, industry, government, and community ecosystem to sustain university growth and meet worldwide excellence as a leading Malaysian research institution following the national and global agenda.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, the event witnessed the formal exchange of memorandum of understanding documents between Prof. Datuk Ir. Ts. Dr Ahmad Fauzi Ismail, the Vice Chancellor of UTM, and Mr Rosihan Zain Baharudin, the visionary Chief Executive Officer of Futurise Sdn. Bhd., sealing the commitment to this transformative venture.<\/span><\/p>\n
