Under the guidance of the instructor, Ts ChM Dr Nor Suriani Sani, Senior Research Officer of the iHumEn, students from this course successfully collaborated with SK Taman Mutiara Rini (SKTMR), Centre for Sustainable Nanomaterials (CSNano), and Persatuan Zeolit Malaysia (MyZA) to create the innovative \"Zeolite Smart Greenhouse\" facility, a sustainable project with long-term benefits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To raise awareness among SKTMR students and teachers about the significance of science and technology in modern tree planting, a knowledge transfer program was conducted on January 3, 2023. The program used the cutting-edge \"Zeolite Smart Greenhouse\" facility to prepare mixed zeolite fertilisers and plant monitoring techniques. Attended by Norazlan Bin Ahmad, Co-curricular Senior Assistant Teacher, SKTMR, Dr Muhammad Hariz Asraf Bin Hassan, Head of Activity, Persatuan Zeolit Malaysia, MyZA, Siti Nur Sakinah Ahmad, Research Officer, Centre for Sustainable Nanomaterials (CSNano) with five teachers and 30 students from the SKTMR Sustainable Squad, the event aimed to foster a deeper understanding of these crucial aspects.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The captivating \"Zeolite Smart Greenhouse\" offers many fascinating features, boasting three primary functions: an exquisite gallery corner enriched with valuable information, an innovative hub for preparing mixed fertilizers, and an advanced plant growth monitoring facility. Spanning an impressive capacity of 2.25 meters, this cutting-edge establishment thrives with the collaborative efforts of 24 industrious UTM students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This groundbreaking innovation has garnered substantial support, receiving a generous sponsorship of RM6,000 from esteemed government and private agencies. Following the planting activity, participants were given a survey form to gather feedback and insights on their experience with zeolite fertilizers.
