The Center for Advancement in Digital and Flexible Learning (UTM CDEX), in collaboration with the Media and Game Innovation Centre of Excellence (MaGICX) and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) successfully organized the launching of UTM Virtual Lab in conjunction with the official ceremony with the Vice Chancellor on 1st August 2023, broadcast live from Dewan Sultan Iskandar, UTM, Johor Bahru.<\/span>The event was officiated by Professor Datuk Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi Ismail, the Vice Chancellor of UTM. This ceremony was attended by about 3000 participants including the Deputy Vice Chancellors, Deans, Members of Boards of Directors (JPU), academic and support staff of UTM.<\/span><\/p>\n The launch of UTM Virtual Lab marks a significant milestone, positioning UTM as the pioneer among public universities in Malaysia to introduce web-based virtual reality labs and their associated content. This great initiative is part of UTM’s strategic endeavor to revolutionize digital teaching and learning methods.<\/span>As a key component of the visionary envisions UTM 2025 plan, the UTM Virtual Lab stands as a testament to the institution’s commitment to fostering open learning environments.
