The Medical Devices and Technology Centre (MEDITEC) organized a training session on universal mechanical testing of the Instron machine on October 1, 2023. The session was aimed at providing comprehensive support and technical expertise to participants.<\/span>The training covered various aspects of the Instron machine, including compression, tensile strength, tension, three-point bending, cyclic loading, Young’s Modulus, elasticity, stiffness, yield strength, stress, fatigue tests, creep, stress relaxation, temperature-dependent behaviour, the stress-strain relationship. During the session, participants learned about system startup and load cell loading in the Bluehill software and the intricacies of mechanical testing.<\/span><\/p>\n
