The workshop was attended by IJN-UTM CEC research fellows and members, along with guests from the Strategic Unit of the Department of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Dr. ‘Afifah Taat and Ms. Zuridah Saadan. <\/p>\n
The primary aim of the workshop was to evaluate the strengths and challenges of IJN-UTM CEC based on its achievements from 2019 to 2023 and to formulate strategic and synergistic plans to meet the Key Activity Indicator (KAI) goals outlined in Blueprint@Envision UTM 2025. Additionally, the workshop aimed to develop a comprehensive plan for activities to be implemented by IJN-UTM CEC in 2024.<\/p>\n
The event began with welcome remarks from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syafiqah Saidin, Director of IJN-UTM CEC. This was followed by a speech from Prof. Dr. Mohd Shahrizal Sunar, Director of the Institute of Human-Centered Engineering (iHumEn). The workshop then proceeded to group discussions, focusing on activity planning based on KAI elements, HiCOE, and Blueprint@Envision UTM 2025. These discussions also covered the future direction of IJN-UTM CEC. <\/p>\n
The collaborative discussions were highly productive, with participants actively contributing ideas and strategies. By the end of the workshop, a clear plan for 2024 activities was established, aligning with the strategic objectives of IJN-UTM CEC and the broader vision of UTM 2025.
