The course was held on May 23rd and 24th, 2024, at the New York Hotel in Johor Bahru. <\/p>\n
The event was designed to equip trainers and referees, specifically from the group fitness and physiotherapy, with the essential skills and knowledge required for their roles in the league. The course focused on two main topics: sports massage, trigger point therapy, and injury management and taping techniques. These sessions ensured the trainers and referees were well-prepared to handle football’s physical demands and potential injuries.<\/p>\n
The participants were part of a subsidized program offered by PBNJ, which was allocated to all PBD and PBT affiliates for the year. This initiative aimed to enhance the quality of fitness and physiotherapy support within the league, contributing to the overall safety and performance of the players. <\/p>\n
The two-day course provided a comprehensive learning experience, with practical demonstrations and hands-on activities that allowed participants to apply their learned techniques. The event was well-received, with participants expressing confidence in supporting athletes throughout the season.
