Prof. Dr. Tunku Kamarul Zaman is presently the director of University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), a premier university hospital in Malaysia with 1300 beds and staffed by over 5000 personnel. He is by profession an orthopaedic surgeon with special interest in upper limb and microsurgery. He graduated with an M.D. from the National University of Malaysia in 1998. After serving the Ministry of Health as a medical officer for several years, he entered the \u00a0Masters of Orthopaedics specility training program i.e. M.S.(Ortho) from University of Malaya and graduated in 2004.
