In complex and extreme environment such as tropical cyclone, algorithm developed in neutral atmospheric condition become an ill-posed solution. Thus, reducing the accuracy of the estimates variable. With the unique advantage and intelligent computational capability, lots of satellite observed parameters can be exploit to derive more accurate tropical cyclone variables.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.8.1″ _module_preset=”default”]

Active Microwave Satellite for Tropical Cyclone (TC) Study

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.8.1″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.8.1″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_image src=”https://research.utm.my/wp-content/uploads/sites/55/2021/03/Caption-A-2.jpg” title_text=”Caption A” align=”center” _builder_version=”4.8.1″ _module_preset=”default”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.8.1″ _module_preset=”default”]

Altimeter and scatterometer satellite crossing Typhoon Choi-Wan with their corresponding tracks and measured data.
