Teaching and Research Interest
Dr. Shamsuddin Shahid teaches the postgraduate courses of Groundwater Hydrology and Statistical Hydrology in Faculty of Civil Engineering. His major research interests are Water Resources Management, Groundwater Hydrology, Climate Variability and Changes, Climate Change Impacts on Hydrological Processes and Water Resources, Droughts and Water Scarcity, Hydrological Data Analysis and Modeling, and Hydrological Hazards and Risk Mapping. He is supervising number of Masters and PhD students working on hydrological problems in developing countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, China and Nigeria.
