IC-ENSURES is a conference series conducted every two years by Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Water Security (IPASA). This conference series aims to create an international platform to exchange views, learn best practices, and sharing knowledge between professionals and academicians on environmental sustainability and resource security. This year, we are very honoured to announce that IC-ENSURES is back in town for the 3rd Series! This time around, the theme of the conference is “Shaping the Future : Empowering Good Environmental, Social & Governance Practices”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) refers to a set of criteria or factors that stakeholders consider when evaluating the sustainability and ethical impact of an investment or business operation. These three components represent key areas that are believed to contribute to the long-term success and responsible behaviour of an organization. Investors and stakeholders increasingly use ESG criteria to assess the overall sustainability and ethical performance of companies. Companies that demonstrate strong ESG practices are often seen as more attractive to socially responsible investors and may be better positioned for long-term success in a world where environmental and social issues are becoming increasingly important.<\/p>\n

In line with advancing the realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the aim of IC-ENSURES 2024 is to bring together scholars, industry professionals, and stakeholders globally to foster the exchange of knowledge, information sharing, and discussions on initiatives promoting exemplary practices in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). The ESG rating system, functioning as a benchmark, enables industries and stakeholders to assess their commitment to environmental conservation, universal social responsibility, and sustainable governance. Consequently, IC-ENSURES 2024 prioritizes three pivotal areas: Environment, Social, and Governance.<\/p>\n
