CALL FOR PAPERS \/ PARTICIPANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the first Workshop organized under the Taiwan-Malaysia Innovation Centre for Clean Water and Sustainable Energy (WISE Centre), to be held on 5-6 August 2019<\/strong> at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Johor Bahru<\/strong>. The theme of the Workshop aligns with the focus of WISE Centre, which is \u201cClean Water and Sustainable Energy\u201d<\/strong>. Prominent professors from the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) Taiwan will be invited to deliver talks, together with professors and researchers from UTM.<\/p>\n

Submission of presentation abstracts are now invited from academic staff, researchers, and graduate students, including from countries other than Taiwan and Malaysia. Participants will have the opportunity to network with fellow researchers from Taiwan, Malaysia and the South East Asian region. Places are limited!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Selected paper will be given opportunity to be published in the Book Series entitled Community, Environment and Disaster Risk Management by Emerald Publishing.<\/p>\n

Participation fee<\/strong>: a nominal fee of MYR300 (for academic staff and researchers) and MYR150 (for students) will be charged for every abstract accepted, to cover meals during the Workshop.<\/p>\n
