On 25 November 2024, at Bilik Seminar IVAT, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia UTM, Johor Bahru, Johor, IVAT has been conduct a 2 Day Course on High Voltage Testing. The\u00a0short course mainly focused on the theory and practice involved in high voltage testing that presented by our lecturer Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohd Hafizi Ahmad<\/a><\/strong> , Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Hafiz Habi Buddin<\/a><\/strong> and also Dr. Noor Syazwani Mansor<\/a> with assistance engineer for practical section during this course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the first day, the participants were introduced to the introduction to high voltage testing and calibration, overview of high voltage equipment for testing, power cable testing for acceptance and condition assessment, HV testing on switchgears and HV testing on Power transformers. On the second day, the participants had the opportunity to perform hands-on sessions on high voltage testing and before that they has been giving about protection on high voltage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
