Institute for Vehicle and System and Engineering or IVeSE was established in 2015 to strengthen research activities, publications, consultancy and services that could be offered by UTM in vehicle systems and engineering. The combination of the four Research Center (RC) of the highly competitive i.e. Automotive Development Center (ADC), Marine Technology Center (MTC), Center for Composite (CFC) and Centre for Low Carbon Transport in Collaboration with Imperial College (Locartic) make IVeSE as the leading one-stop center in field of automotive, marine, composite materials and low carbon in Malaysia.

IVeSE intend to contribute to national development by focusing on innovative problem-solving to address the engineering and vehicle systems. With an impressive record of continuity RCs under IVeSE, will make it as a leader in this niche, especially in implemantation of new technologies in this field.IVeSE also committed to collabrate in research with leading institutions in and outside the country to strengthen its position as an institute for vehicle system and engineering. IVeSE will be actively involved in various activities, including conferences, seminars and courses for the development of knowledge and sharing ideas for more sustainable.
