The theme of GTeC 2025, “Foundations of the Future: Resilience, Innovation, and Sustainability,” sets the stage for a dynamic program that includes research presentations, feedback from academics, and interactive discussions between faculty and postgraduate students. Throughout the colloquium, 22 postgraduate research students from three participating universities presented their research findings within designated time slots. Each presentation highlighted key aspects of ongoing studies in the field of geotechnical engineering.

After the presentations, an engaging and in-depth discussion session was led by Professor Ir. Dr. Azman Kassim. This brainstorming session focused on the progress of each research project, during which participants actively discussed the challenges faced, research issues, and the specifications and requirements for laboratory equipment. Dr. Afikah Rahim, the project coordinator, stated that the session aims to foster engaging and productive dialogue among all academic staff within the GRG, promoting collaboration and the exchange of ideas to enhance the quality and impact of their research.
