Dr Nor Alafiza Yunus is a senior lecturer at Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and a member of Process Systems Engineering Centre (PROSPECT), UTM. She received a BSc and MEng in Chemical Engineering from UTM and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Technical University of Denmark. Alafiza currently works on the design of tailor-made chemical products from various sources including bio-based. Her research interests include chemical product design using computer-aided tools and model-based approach, chemical property estimation and product and process modeling, and optimization.
