\"\"<\/a>Johor Bahru, 16 March 2026<\/em> \u2013 Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) will organize a half-day online training titled \u201cEnergy Efficiency Financing Opportunity & Incentives\u201d<\/strong> on 16 March 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.<\/strong> The programme aims to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of financing options and incentives available for energy efficiency projects in Malaysia.<\/p>\n

The training is designed to equip industry professionals with practical knowledge on leveraging financing schemes such as GITA, GITE, GTFS, EACG<\/strong>, and other initiatives. Participants will gain insights into various financing models, including direct financing, equipment financing, and Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) through Energy Service Companies (ESCOs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition, the programme will explore strategies for structuring energy efficiency projects, maximizing available tax incentives, and ensuring compliance with national policies such as the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The training will feature interactive sessions, expert insights, and networking opportunities<\/strong> with industry practitioners, financial institutions, and policy experts. Participants will also receive a certificate of completion<\/strong> recognizing their knowledge in energy efficiency financing and incentives.<\/p>\n

The programme is particularly beneficial for energy managers, sustainability officers, financial managers, accountants, facility and operations managers, project developers, ESCOs, business owners, SME entrepreneurs, consultants, and academics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The training fee is RM400 for normal registration<\/strong> and RM600 for HRDC participants<\/strong>, with 4 CDP points<\/strong> available. The programme is also HRDC claimable (subject to approval)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
