The online training workshop was successfully organised by the Wireless Communication Centre, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia&nbsp;and ITU, in collaboration with IEEE Malaysia COMSOC &amp; VTS Joint Chapter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>49 participants from various industries, universities and government agency completed the programmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This course achieves a participation from local and international participants and attended by 78% local participants and 22% international participants. See Figure 3. Overseas&nbsp;participations are from Hong Kong (HKSAR) (2), Thailand (7), West Africa (1) and Austria (1).&nbsp;From 49 participants who attended the online training, 78% were from the industry and 22%&nbsp;were from academia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Training Course Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5th Generation technology is here. Globally, various stages of 5G implementations such as trialling, licensing, deploying, limited launches, nationwide launches have taken place. Implementation challenges exist, and innovative deployment approaches are required&nbsp;before the full potential of 5G network and services can be realized.
