On 21-23 March 2016, UTM OTEC sending 2 staffs and 1 PhD student to join a Planning Session Programme for Ekspedisi Pelayaran Saintifik Kebangsaan 2016. This event was held in Primaland Resort Port Dickson where related oceanography scientists were involved. The expedition sampling location will be divided into 3 main Cluster namely Cluster A: Off Pahang waters, Cluster B: Off Sarawak waters and Cluster C: Sabah Trough. This expedition is important for the UTM OTEC to establish strong research mainly on chemical, physical, biological and benthic environment at Sabah Trough. The voyage is planned to be sailed this August 2016.
