Johor Bahru 25 May 2021 – The Deputy Vice -Chancellor’s Department (Research and Innovation) was called to assist all affected parties after the government announced the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) period at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru. A special COVID-19 fund has been set up and this initiative was extended to all industry and international partners to ensure that the basic resources to the affected parties are always given attention. Among the resources and basic materials needed are food items, sanitizers, masks, daily necessities and basic necessities.

Apart from that, the Community and Industry Networking Center (CCIN) under the Deputy Vice Chancellor’s Department (Research and Innovation) also collected donations from external parties such as industries and individuals to be given to those affected by EMCO. The donations were collected from 24 May 2021 until 26 May 2021 and will be handed over on 27 May 2021. The donations can also be handed over to Mr. Zul (019-7756119), Mr. Mad Yani (012-7512342) and Mr. Wafiq (018-3883964) at the collection center located at the UTM Innovation and Commercialization Center (ICC).
