For participants and presenters, during the presentation day, all communication will be done via Telegram. Please join the Telegram group to communicate any issues that may arise during the conference day. The venue of the conference will be at Grand Petra 2, UTM Residency, UTM KL.

In order for your paper to be published in the conference proceedings, it is important for you to follow these instructions:

1. 1. Each submission must strictly follow the Extended Abstract Template – ISAE 2023 Template (.docx).
   2. The language of the conference is English.
   3. Extended abstracts should be at least three pages, but not more than five pages in length including the references.
   4. Online submission via the Google Form system : The authors have to submit extended abstract before 15th October 2023 via the “EXTENDED ABSTRACT SUBMISSION” Form.
   5. Notification of acceptance will be sent by 16th October 2023 by email. The author may submit the full paper via “FULL PAPER SUBMISSION” Form before 20th October 2023.
   6. Authors need to pay the fees following the instructions posted on the Method of Payment section on our website. Otherwise, the paper will not be included in the conference proceeding and journal publication.
   7. After payment has been made, register through “REGISTRATION & PAYMENT” form. A copy of the payment slip / proof (save in PDF) MUST be uploaded through the Registration & Payment Form.
   8. Paper ID can be obtained in ISAE 2023 Paper.

For local participants, the payment can be made via UTM e-Commerce System

Note :
1. System will auto generate an electronic receipt (soft copy).
2. The payer’s name will be the name on the receipt.
3. The payment for ISAE2023 will be available on 1st October 2023 to 23rd October 2023.

Step 1 : Go to the UTM e-commerce Portal : https://ecommercev2.utm.my/index.php
Step 2 : Select Make Payment > Select Category [08] CONFERENCE  or Portal e-Commerce – Conference Category.
Step 3 : Search for payment code according to your category (UTMxxxx).
Step 4 : Choose the right category and make payment via debit / credit card.
Step 5 : Download transaction receipt.
Step 6 : Register through “REGISTRATION & PAYMENT” and upload the proof of payment.

The fees vary depending on the type of registration and the date of payment.

The presentation guidelines are as follow :

1. The allocated presentation time for one research paper is 20 minutes with a Q&A session.

2. The presentation format is similar to the research presentation format which generally comprises 3 main sections i.e.

i   – Introduction (Background of the study, problem statement, objectives of the study, etc.),
ii  – Body (Methodology, Results & Discussions) and
iii – Conclusions & Recommendations

 3. For your presentation slides, you may use the templates by your organization or institution.

4. Please make sure that your slides are clear, concise and informative, and that you cite any sources that you use.

5. Please make sure that you have prepared your presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint Slide and that you have saved the file in both .ppt/.pptx and .pdf format.
This will ensure that your presentation is compatible with the conference equipment and that you have a backup copy in case of any technical issues.

The schedule of the presentation will be given later with a printed copy of Programme Book during registration.
