Aker will dismantle and recycle three offshore installations from the Equinor-operated Heimdal and Veslefrikk fields.

Aker Solutions has received a ‘sizeable contract’ from Heerema Marine Contractors to recycle installations from the Heimdal and Veslefrikk fields offshore Norway.

Under the contract, which follows a letter of intent from March 2021, Aker Solutions will be responsible for reception, dismantling, and recycling of three offshore installations from the Equinor-operated Heimdal and Veslefrikk fields.
