WOODSIDE Petroleum will spend an extra US$240 million on decommissioning, mostly on removing plastic coated pipelines but the Australian Securities and Investments Commission still has concerns around its restoration costs disclosure, it said today.

ASIC said in a release that the company has improved its disclosure of possible restoration costs in future, disclosing what infrastructure will be fully removed but some costs remain unclear.
