Power System Measurement and Monitoring Lab focuses on the research of power quality monitoring, its impact on load and power system equipment, power quality analysis and also mitigation technique. The use of monitoring allows maintenance to be scheduled, or other actions to be taken to avoid the consequences of failure before the failure occurs. Currently, there are 3 Masters by research students and 5 PhD students pursuing their studies in these research areas. This laboratory provides facilities such as power quality analyser, temperature sensor, AC source generator, harmonic load bank, and other facilities which are suitable for research in the area of power quality studies.
