Around 10 postgraduate from the School of Chemical and Energy Engineering (SKT), Faculty of Engineering, UTM Johor Bahru campus joined the Global Outreach Programme (GOP) to the Jeju National University, Korea from 8th to 14th October 2018.
The programme was supervised by Assoc Prof Dr Mohd Azizi Che Yunus from SKT. Among the week-filled activities were visiting the laboratory and discussion on Supercritical Extraction method and attended a seminar held at Jeju National University with researchers from the JNU and UTM sharing their current research.
The cooperation between UTM and JNU first started in 2013 when Dr Mohd Azizi met Prof Sangbin when Prof Sanbgin become one of Keynote speaker at ICoST conference organized by CLEAR. This was followed by research collaboration in terms of the publication of a technical paper which was the most cited paper in an ISI indexed journal.
