The Centre for Real Estate Studies is UTM’s Centre of Excellence in Real Estate under the management of Institute for Smart Infrastructure & Innovative Construction (ISIIC). It was established in 1997 in Department of Real Estate Management to provide support for a variety of real estate research and educational activities at the Faculty of Geoinformation and Real Estate.

The centre helps to partly fulfil the needs of the real estate industry in research, knowledge advancement, professional practice, and experience through inter-institutional collaboration and information exchange between the university and the industry. It also strives to provide quality research and knowledge that are relevant to and integrative of the different functional areas of real estate disciplines.
