ABOUT US

We are delighted to extend our invitation for your participation in the 6th International Conference on Biosciences and Medical Engineering (ICBME) scheduled for August 28-29, 2024 at Concorde Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event is organized by the Centre for Sustainable Nanomaterials at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, in collaboration with the Department of Biosciences at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Biotechnology Department at the International Islamic University, the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology at Ondokuz Mayis University, Turkey and the Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Udayana University, Indonesia.

Our conference boasts a remarkable scientific program led by distinguished invited speakers, researchers, scientists, academicians, engineers, nanotechnologists, healthcare professionals, and industry experts. We are confident that this scientific program will exceed your expectations. Your participation provides a valuable opportunity to network with peers and renowned experts from around the world. This is an excellent platform for presenting your research findings to a broad audience, fostering knowledge exchange, and building professional relationships.

The chosen theme aims to explore emerging technologies in the fields of biomedical and biosciences research. Biosciences, which initially had its roots in agriculture for example, has now expanded its applications to healthcare, molecular structures, computational biology, microbiology, medicine, food processing, and functional food development, as well as food safety. In our increasingly interconnected world, biosciences and biomedical research are essential for improving our quality of life. The application of biosciences in medicine holds significant potential for enhancing drug delivery and introducing novel diagnostic procedures.

In addition to the conference meetings and discussions, we strongly encourage participants to attend pre-conference short courses scheduled on 28 August. Moreover, we offer authors the opportunity to publish their work in the official conference journal, the “Journal of Materials in Life Sciences (JOMALISC)” by Penerbit UTM Press, which will undergo a thorough review process by our selected scientific committee.

We are confident that the 6th ICBME 2024 will provide an outstanding platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and perspectives among global experts, distinguished researchers, scientists, and research scholars. Your participation will contribute significantly to the success of this conference, and we look forward to your presence at this prestigious event.
