Malaysia is committed to achieving the goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, with one of the main approaches being the use of satellite data.

According to Prof. Dr. Mazlan Hashim, agencies such as the Meteorological Department and the National Space Agency (ANGKASA) will use this data for weather and natural disaster monitoring.
