Professor Mazlan Hashim research interests in the rigorous development and innovation of diverse satellite remote sensing and geospatial applications for natural resources and environmental management. Specifically, his research focuses on:

  1. Machine learning-based satellite data processing for mineral mapping, landslide.
  2. Coastal shallow habitat mapping
  3. Water resources studies.
  4. Atmospheric and GHG emission mapping.
  5. Tropical ecology and biodiversity.
