I also hope you have optimised your participation in this conference and have gained many benefits and new contacts. Ladies and gentlemen,

Back in 2015, together with several colleagues who are Cardiff University’s alumni, UTM IVAT had initiated the formation of MyHVNet- a loose organisation, grouping all the high voltage payers and laboratories in Malaysia. We organise a yearly meeting, and a bi annual symposium. MyHVNet has actually enabled the gathering of many academia and industrial players, to work and synergise, towards the advancement of high voltage technology in Malaysia. The chairmanship of MyHVNet, has been changing, from the pioneer here in UTM, to then UPM, USM, and now UTeM. I believe, the close working relationship between members in this MyHVNet, has enabled, the formation of a strong organising committee, and in my opinion, this committee has successfully organised this conference to its completion. I am so grateful for that. From the bottom of my heart, I take this opportunity, to thank, each and every one of the ICPADM2021 organising committee members, for your excellent service throughout the last 2 1/2  years. With your vast experience or otherwise, you have indeed played your parts in organising this conference as expected.

I would also like to take this opportunity, to express my greatest appreciations, to many parties, involved in this conference, as below.

  • All authors and conference participants.
  • Paper reviewers.
  • ICPADM IAC committee.
  • TNB Labs.
  • TNB Research.
  • The plenary speakers.
  • The Institute of High Voltage and High Current.
  • UTM.
  • UTM ViceChancellor.
  • IEEE DEIS.
  • IEEE DEIS Malaysia members.
  • IEEE DIES Malaysia current Chair, AP Dr Nor Asiah Muhamad, who had actually initially proposed Malaysia, as an ICPADM host.
  • MyHVNet Members.
  • Evenesis.
  • Tourism Malaysia.
  • And All other individuals and parties, that are directly, or indirectly involved in ICPADM2021.

I wish all of you, all the best in your research, your work and your life. If opportunity comes, we invite you to come and visit Malaysia in the near future.

Thank you all, take care, and goodbye.

Wassalamu’alaikum wb.
