Banner-Mobile-Based-Augmented-Reality-Course-with-Professor-Billinghurst

A two day mobile-based augmented reality (AR) course was organized by Media and Game Innovation Centre of Excellence (MaGIC-X) starting from the 29th of November 2015. The course which was held at the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) was taught by Professor Dr Mark Billinghurst and helped by one of his students, Mr Zi Siang See.

A lot of topics were covered during this course. These include prototyping for mobile AR, AR browsers, location-based AR, mobile AR using Vuforia, designing mobile AR interfaces and AR research directions. Participants also stood a chance to develop their own AR prototype through the hands-on sessions.
