Transforming Together: Industry Partnerships for a Sustainable Future

Kuala Lumpur– In a landmark move toward community health and well-being, the Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) has introduced a pioneering Corporate Social initiative (CSI) program at NEXPO 2023 on 25 Oct – 26 Oct 2023 at UTM Residensi Kuala Lumpur. The initiative aims to provide free health screenings to the public, reinforcing IJN’s commitment to fostering a culture of wellness.

At UTM we believe in the power of collaboration to create positive change. We are proud to announce our partnership with leading industry players in a ground-breaking Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program designed to make a lasting impact on communities we serve. Together, we are dedicated to addressing the specific needs of local communities through NEXPO 2023. 

The NEXPO 2023 opening ceremony was graced by the presence of the Deputy Minister of Higher Education (MOHE), Datuk Mohammad Yusof Haji Apdal. Also in attendance for the grand opening were distinguished guests, including the UTM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datuk. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi Ismail, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Prof. Dr. Rosli Md Illias, IJN Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Akmal Arief bin Mohamed Fauzi, IJN Senior Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Head Director of Clinical Research, Prof Dato’ Dr Suhaini bin Kadiman and Group Chief Executive Officer PROLINTAS Group, Datuk Mohammad Azlan Abdullah underscoring the significance of the event. IJN was the main sponsor for the NEXPO 2023 program.

IJN through Corporate Social Initiative (CSI) program introduced IJN Mobile Care (40 ft truck) for FREE health screening for the community. During the two days of the FREE health screening, 443 people were screened, of whom 209 were female and 234 were male.
