UTM AP Ts Dr Ramesh Zaidi Named Visiting Professor at Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia

MALANG, INDONESIA, 9th October 2023

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)’s Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Ramesh Zaidi Rozan of the Information Systems Department served as a Visiting Professor at Indonesia’s Universitas Brawijaya for one month starting October 8.

He engaged in workshops, discussions, lectures, and seminars during his visiting professorship with the university’s Faculty of Administrative Sciences.

Attendees comprised Universitas Brawijaya staff and students from various programs, including Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Taxation, Bachelor of Tourism, Master of Business Administration, and Doctor of Administrative Science.

The engagement aligned with a memorandum of agreement between both universities to boost academic collaboration through visiting professor exchanges focused on teaching, research and community service programs catered to their respective academic needs.

For the month of October 2023, the events were:

  • Workshop on Crafting Quality Manuscripts: A Path to International Journal Publication
  • Workshop on Sustainable Horizons: Redefining Business Models with Canvas Creativity
  • Workshop on Doctoral Research Proposal Writing
  • Discussion on Exploring New Frontiers: A Research Roadmap for Entrepreneurship in Business Administration.
  • Discussion on Unpacking Entrepreneurial Competence in the Digital Age and Sustainability Perspectives.
  • Discussion on Shaping the Future of AI: Exploring the Research Roadmap (Business, Taxation, and Tourism)
  • Discussion on Curriculum Competency in Data Science and AI: Bridging the Knowledge Gap
  • Discussion on Collaborative Sparks: Igniting Innovation and Business Incubation
  • Discussion on Beyond Sparks: Mastering the Art of Cross-Industry Collaboration
  • Regular class on Organizational Learning and Knowledge Management

For November 2023:

  • Class on Business Strategy Analysis & Tourism Business Strategy

  • Class on Research Methodology.

Ts. Dr. Ramesh Zaidi has been actively engaged with Universitas Brawijaya since 2016, particularly in IT entrepreneurship programs nurturing student startups, innovation, and international competitions. He believes the longstanding relationship can catalyze mutually beneficial initiatives between both universities.
