The Faculty of Technology and Informatics Razak (FTIR) is delighted to share the news from the past Majlis Hi-Tea Alumni event, which took place on 5 November 2023, at the prestigious Hotel Concorde in Kuala Lumpur. The event was a grand success, marked by the presence of esteemed guests and the participation of our valued alumni.
FTIR were honoured to have Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Mohd Shahril Abdullah, Director of Industry and Community Collaboration Division, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education, gracing the event as the esteemed guest of honour. His presence added immense value to the event and inspired all attendees.
The event was further enriched by the insightful talk delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Sophiayati Yuhaniz, Deputy Director of Endowment of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Kuala Lumpur. She shared invaluable insights on the UTM Endowment and the lasting impact of giving back to the community. Her talk was a testament to the power of philanthropy and its role in shaping a better future.
Joining her were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samira Albati Kamaruddin, Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affairs), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roslina Ibrahim, Deputy Dean (Research, Development, and Innovation). Their presence and contributions significantly enhanced the event’s intellectual discourse.
