LONDON, Sept 23 – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has partnered with The Amjad and Suha Bseisu Foundation to offer educational opportunities to Palestinian students.
During a recent meeting in London, UTM’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Dr. Ahmad Fauzi Ismail, signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Steven Turner, Interim CEO of The Amjad and Suha Bseisu Foundation. This marks the beginning of a collaboration aimed at addressing the challenges faced by the Palestinian people.
According to Datuk Dr. Ahmad Fauzi, UTM has committed to offering financial assistance to ensure a smooth transition for Palestinian students to pursue their studies at this campus. Datuk Ahmad Fauzi also commended The Amjad Foundation for its efforts in assisting Palestinian students to pursue higher education despite the challenges they face. The Amjad Foundation has already identified ten potential candidates for the first group of Palestinian students, who are currently undergoing final academic screening by UTM.
This partnership showcases UTM’s dedication to internationalization and providing quality education worldwide to students from diverse backgrounds.
