He is responsible as a Director at the Institute for Vehicle Systems and Engineering (IVeSE). He is also a fellow researcher at the Automotive Development Centre (ADC). He completed his PhD degree in 2011 in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom. His research interests include Internal Combustion Engine, Alternative Fuel, Energy Efficient Vehicle and Underwater Vehicle. |
DR ZULKARNAIN BIN ABDUL LATIFF CV_ZulkarnainAbdulLatiff | Zulkarnain Abdul Latiff is currently seconded to Automotive Development Center (ADC), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), as a Fellow Researcher and Consultant. Still servicing School of Mechanical Engineering (SME), UTM as a Senior Lecturer and handling courses related to Thermodynamics field. Zulkarnain first appointment at UTM as Assistant Lecturer ‘B’ at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME) after completion his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1985. As an academician he pursues his study up to PhD level in the same field and was awarded the degree in 2011 from UTM. Areas of expertise and interest are Internal Combustion Engine, Engine Performance and Combustion Test, Energy Efficiency and Thermodynamics Related Studies. Zulkarnain as a Consultant together with ADC team members has done quite a number of testing for the industries regarding after-market product and component related to fuel and engine. |
DR MOHD FAIZAL BIN HASAN CV_FaizalHasan | Dr. Mohd Faizal Hasan obtained his Ph.D. degree in Engineering from Keio University (Japan). His Ph.D. research was related to Palladium/Argentum (Pd/Ag) purification membrane for fuel cell application, and also methanol steam reforming for hydrogen production.Now,he is doing researches on densification, torrefaction and gasification of biomass. |
ASSOC. PROF. DR WILLIAM CHONG WOEI FONG | William Chong Woei Fong received his B.Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical in 2007 from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor, Malaysia. After then, he obtained his M.Sc. in Automotive Product Engineering and Ph.D in Engineering from Cranfield University, United Kingdom in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and also a Research Fellow at Automotive Development Centre (ADC) in the School of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, UTM. His research areas cover automotive tribology, biodegradable lubricants and interfacial phenomena governed by boundary friction. |
