The Workshop on Accelerating Digital Transformation through Big Data Analytics Adoption and Implementation (ADIBA) will take place from 20–22 June 2025 at Hotel Primera, Cyberjaya. Organized in close collaboration with the Ministry of Transport Malaysia, this three-day physical workshop is designed as a specialized platform to support organizations in embracing digital transformation through the strategic adoption of Big Data Analytics (BDA).
This program brings together a distinguished panel of experts — Prof. Dr. Naomie Salim, Prof. Madya Dr. Anazida Zainal, and Dr. Muhammad Zafran Muhammad Zaly Shah — who will share their knowledge, research insights, and practical experience to guide participants in understanding the critical role of data in shaping modern organizational strategies. The workshop will cover essential aspects of BDA adoption, from conceptual frameworks and implementation strategies to governance models and success measurement.
A key focus of ADIBA is to provide participants with exposure to real-world applications and case studies, particularly in the transport sector, where the use of BDA has the potential to revolutionize service delivery, operational efficiency, and policy development. Through a blend of lectures, interactive discussions, and group activities, participants will gain not only theoretical perspectives but also actionable tools and methodologies that can be directly applied within their respective organizations.
By the end of the program, participants are expected to be better equipped to lead data-driven initiatives, foster innovation, and sustain long-term digital transformation efforts. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to modernizing public sector services, strengthening national digital capabilities, and ensuring that Malaysia remains at the forefront of the digital economy.
