Bali Authentic Views:
Ubud Rice Terraces
An agricultural icon on the cliffs of Tegalalang Village north of Ubud. It’s a very popular tourist hotspot in Bali and a must-see in many Bali itineraries. The stunning Tegalalang Rice Terrace, part of the Cultural Landscape of Bali Province UNESCO World Heritage Site, comprises cascading emerald-green fields worked by local rice farmers.
Besakih Sacred Temple
Known as the Mother Temple, Besakih is a temple complex that is the largest, most important and most sacred of the Hindu religion in Bali. It is made up of 23 temples over 6 terraces, the biggest and most important being the Pura Penataran Agung, which houses different areas representing the seven layers of the universe.
Kintamani Mountain
Kintamani Bali is one of the island’s most underrated areas, with fresh mountain air, lake view hotels and restaurants, and the humongous 13-kilometer-wide volcanic caldera that the village has sat in since ancient times. The main attraction in Kintamani is the epic Mount Batur volcano, which is super popular for sunrise hikes, but there are a bunch of other neat things to see in the area like temples, hot springs, and the giant crater lake.
Monkey Sacred Forest Ubud
Ubud Monkey Forest is the sanctuary and natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed macaque. It is located at Padangtegal Ubud, Bali. Almost 600 monkeys live at the Bali monkey forest! This is a 12 hectare (30 acre) jungle area surrounding an old 14th century Hindu temple, located in the heart of Ubud.
