| The objective of this short course is to provide participants with the latest knowledge of structural steelwork design using the new Eurocode 3 BS EN 1993-1-1:2000. The course covers the analysis and design of structural systems, prefabricated steel beams and columns in both simple and rigid construction, and overall frame for stability. After attending this course, engineers are able to design multi-storey steel buildings, categorized as one of the industrialized building systems (IBS), more economically and safely. |
