3 Minutes Thesis Competition
| The Three Minutes Thesis Competition 2016 for FGHT and FBME (faculty level) was successfully held on 7th March 2016 at Seminar Room FGHT (Level 3 T06) of UTM. This competition aims at assessing the student’s ability to communicate ideas effectively. It intends to enhance academic and research communication skills. Eight from FBME and 14 from FGHT PhD students presented their thesis topic and significance of research within 3 minutes before the non-specialist audiences.
A panel of four judges, Chaired by Prof Mazlan Hashim (FGHT) announced the names of 2 contestants who won the competition. Both the winners were students of INSTeG. One of them was Syarifuddin Misbari as the first prize winner, received certificate and RM300. The second prize winner named Linda Roziani Jamru received certificate and RM200. They will represent FGHT for contesting later at the UTM level. Let’s congratulate them for future success. |
