RAZAK & INVICTUS ULTIMATE TOURNAMENT 2024 (RIUT’24) was a collaborative event between Kolej Tun Razak (KTR) and Invictus Ultimate, held at Daiman Sports Centre in Skudai, Johor. This invitational indoor frisbee tournament showcased athleticism, teamwork, and excitement, inviting all to participate in the frisbee matches throughout the event.
RIUT’24, which took place on January 20th, 2024, aimed to elevate the sport of competitive frisbee to new heights, displaying the skills and dedication of players from diverse backgrounds. Teams from Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) Pasir Gudang, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Pasir Gudang, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Gambang, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Kota Masai 2, SMK Sri Rahmat, as well as two teams from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), were invited and competed, captivating audiences with every throw, catch, and dive.
This tournament featured 105 players and was organized by Razak Invictus, led by Hanis Farisya binti Hairy Azly with assistance from 20 committee members. The tournament concluded with the team from UTM emerging victorious in first place. Overall, RIUT’24 was a successful event that demonstrated frisbee’s potential as a competitive sport at UTM. From cheering for KTR to connecting with fellow fans and making new friends, RIUT’24 provided an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
