By leveraging AI as a tool for learning and research, UTM aims to enhance teaching effectiveness and improve research outcomes. This initiative positions UTM as a leader in digital innovation, aligning with global education transformation agendas.

Another key topic of discussion was the enhancement of student mobility and talent development among Asian universities. UTM highlighted the necessity of fostering international collaboration through student exchange programs and transnational research initiatives. By implementing adaptable and impactful mobility programs, UTM seeks to amplify global exposure for students, ensuring that graduates remain highly competitive in a changing job market.

Recognizing the increasing need for stronger industry-academic linkages, UTM reaffirmed its commitment to fostering partnerships between universities and industries across Asia. Through research projects driven by industry, knowledge-sharing platforms, and collaborative innovations, UTM aims to equip students with skills that are viable for the future and to enhance their employment prospects. Strengthening this connection will not only open doors for research commercialization but also ensure that innovations from universities benefit industries and communities alike. The discussions at the forum reflect UTM’s unwavering commitment to global excellence and leadership in higher education. By engaging in international platforms like this, UTM reinforces its position as a hub for cutting-edge research, world-class education, and transformative collaboration. Beyond discussions and networking sessions, UTM also took part in a technological visit to Waseda University, gaining valuable insights into Japan’s advanced research facilities and innovation strategies.
