UTM and Kyushu University Forge Research Collaboration

On May 13, 2025, a significant event took place at Kyushu University, Japan, where the Program Kerjasama Antarabangsa Penyelidikan dan Inovasi was held. This collaborative initiative aimed to explore potential partnerships between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Kyushu University. The event was graced by prominent figures including Prof. Aya Hagishima, Senior Vice President of Kyushu University, and Prof. Kazuhide Ito, Dean of the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Engineering Sciences. UTM was represented by Prof. Dr. Rosli Md Illias, who emphasized the importance of research and innovation in fostering international collaboration. The discussions focused on identifying areas of mutual interest and potential joint research projects that could benefit both institutions. Participants engaged in fruitful dialogues, sharing insights and experiences that highlighted the strengths of each university.
